Here are some articles I have written throughout the years. Most of them are quite old going back to high school.

Imperial 4th Battalion Commander Praesidium XII: Intellect of the 3rd degree, Warrior of the 3rd degree

It was in the four-thousandths six hundredth and fortieth year since the uniting of the seven tribes under Mokon the Wise when I first laid my eyes upon Terra Elf. It was the day of which I had dreamed upon throughout my childhood, the day that I had trained for throughout my youth, the day of the coming of the Iron Chariot. The invasion began seven hours before the orb was to rise. The first shots where fired from the 7th fleet from Nova Praesidium This barrage was undertaken for seven days, leaving half the city in ruins. On high noon of the seventh day, just as was planned the barrage stopped to coordinate with an eclipse. As the sun was smothered from the vision of the city, the Iron Chariots were deployed. Through the plains, they traveled until they came to the city of the barbarians, LothLorien. As butter melts in the sun so did the hearts of the natives than do. The garrison of the city ran to the seven winds, as the Iron Chariots roared in and took what little remained of the polluted wasteland. As the Imperial 4th Battalion Commander, I commanded my division to drive inland through the deserts to the plains of Rivendel. Here I saw one of the most illogical strategic deployments ever undertaken. 25 thousand enemy warriors lined up to the right of our convoy and simultaneously removed themselves from the Terra. Onward we drove until we reached the city of Rivendel. We encompassed the city moving in, and eliminating all who defied. In their last offensive, push 600,000 warriors armed with incendiary bombs attempted to break out of the city, all where slaughtered before a single Iron Chariot was destroyed. That was the beginning of the grand invasion, the time of the empires greatest need, the time that the Iron Chariot was drawn upon for victory.

LotFalMa, providential governor of the Rivendel-LothLorien corridor

In my youth I had heard much of the flame lands, and yet never had I met one who had went to their lands, save for their ambassador to our country, a man who was only known by as the man in the black robe. I had heard stories in my youth of their savagery, but on that fateful morn of the six hundredth and fortieth year I would be awakened to the dark evil they truly were. It was just after the harvest season, the time in which I had always tended to the supply routes, and thus before the sun had risen I was up overseeing the shipments for the next day, when suddenly from the heavens roared balls of fire. Nothing that was where these landed stood, the earth shook and the land trembled. A few fishers had came in from the great sea and told of the great ships, from the flame lands, which issued these balls of fire upon our city. As the fire from the heavens roar into the city the fishermen were given the task to save the empire. The powder stores were emptied into their boats and they were sent to destroy the ships of fire. After twelve hours of waiting, a massive explosion was seen of in the sea but none knew if they were victorious or vanquished. After seven days, of this fire from the heavens, as suddenly as it had started, it also ended. The streets were filed with joy as news came that the enemies ships where that in the explosion. If this was true or not I will never know, for than the people from the flame lands cast darkness over the land, as well as blindness to all who dared to venture out into this dark blanket. All that was heard was thunder of massive beasts as the city was crushed into the earth. Those that remained once the light had returned to the land retreated to the city of Rivendel. Here the commanders ordered that 10 thousand troops to kill themselves to ward of these evil beings. This had been used in the past, and had driven away the enemy for fear of what was to come, but when this was done in front of these savages it was shown that they were not humans, but atrocious beasts, for it was as but a spectacle to them. Their great thundering beast roared on to Rivendel. It was as a plague of locus swallows the land as they surrounded the city. All was lost and thus many of the inhabitants ran from the city. Great smoke clouds were created in attempt to give cover as the mass exodus ensued, but almost all were murdered, men woman and child, as they ran from the city. This was the beginning of the end, the time in which I first saw what the people of the flame lands truly were.
